A printed Dearest Forever tree is heirloom-quality on its own. Framing turns it into a finished piece, ready for the wall the moment it arrives.
Framed or unframed?
Every order ships unframed by default — flat, sleeved, and ready for your favorite local framer. If you'd like the tree to arrive framed and ready to hang, add framing at checkout for $100.
Choose unframed if you have a specific frame in mind, want to match existing room decor, or are gifting and want the recipient to pick their own. Choose framed if you're gifting and want the moment to be complete from the second the wrap comes off — no extra trip, no extra shop.
Frame finishes
Framed orders ship in one of four finishes, chosen to complement your art selection at the design stage. Each is a solid-wood gallery frame with archival mat and UV-protective glass — no plastic, no flimsy moulding, built to last decades.
- Black
- Slim profile in matte black. Best with our cleaner art styles and contemporary rooms.
- White
- Soft whitewashed wood. Casual and lived-in, perfect for a kitchen or family-room wall.
- Oak
- Warm natural oak with a soft grain. A storybook feel that pairs beautifully with the watercolor seasons.
- Gold
- Antique gold with a gentle sheen. A dressier finish for a mantel or a more formal room.
Sizing
Framed dimensions add roughly 3 inches to each edge versus the print itself. If you're planning a gallery wall or measuring a specific spot, email [email protected] and we'll send the exact outer dimensions for your tier.
Local framing
If you'd rather use your own framer, our prints are standard archival giclée — every gallery-quality framer in the country can mat and mount them without issue. Bring the print sleeve and ask for an acid-free mat, UV-protective glass, and a frame profile that matches your room.
